Final Score: Mounties 2 - 1 Inter Lions

Had a decent performance, playing at left-fullback in the first half, then right fullback in the second half. Conserved my energy where I could as we played in the 38 degree heat. My overall performance was solid, having good confidence, communication and won the majority of challenges and aerial contests. I was good on the ball and helped create the second goal where I took the ball at the player in an advanced right-back position and continued my run into the box to create options for the teammate who crossed the ball into the area, another teammate getting the eventual finish. Apart from my performance, a very aggravating day for me seeing a few players from the team not be able to take instructions, and continue to make poor playmaking decisions as players forced long balls against a 10-man opponent, and despite being aware continuing to make poor choices instead of building up play for better chance-creation opportunities. A good result but one not entirely deserved. We move onto the next one.
