U20 Round 18 (ML1): Mounties Wanderers FC vs Northern Tigers FC

80 minutes at left-fullback. A good performance and resounding win from the team. This week we were able to finally convert our chances well and had our best starting line-up in a while through a patch of injuries. I was good defensively and contributed where I could offensively, however I was instructed to hold back more as defending was our focus. My decision making was good and felt good through the duration of my gametime. All facets of my game were up to standard and I was confident in my defensive, aerial and technical abilities. My communication was strong but as always I could’ve spoken more but sometimes it’s difficult from my position. Always things to tweak as a team, not a perfect performance but definitely an improve in our attack which has been lacklustre for the last few months.
