Final Score: Lions 2 - 2 Mounties

A full game at left-fullback in an entertaining and tough battle. A positive start from the team saw us create several chances, however none of them were finished. A long though-ball, and a counter-attack were scored from by our opposition, the score eventually being 2-0 to them at halftime. The momentum shifted back in our favour and we started as we did in the first half, being able to create chances and bring the score back level, and just falling short by the end of the game after having an opportunity to win the match which did not eventuate. Individually, I was good and put my all into the game. I had a difficult task defending the winger who was skilful and tough to defend, a good player in general. I found myself outnumbered at times which is difficult to defend but still did what I could. With that being in the first half, I picked up in the second half and played well, being better defensively, having more desire, and did better things on the ball. 2-2 at the final whistle a fair result, and I was drained after recovering from illness and working back up my fitness.
