U20 Round 25 (ML1): Blacktown Spartans FC vs Hakoah Sydney East FC

I started the game at right centre-back. A very average and underwhelming individual and team performance. Individually, my first half was okay however, we conceded two preventable goals. I found it hard to utilise my time on the ball and only had several good moments. By the time I committed by driving into space I couldn't turn to go back and forced passes into midfielders’ feet. I was sound defensively but there was no talk from other teammates around me and the team was disconnected as a whole. I came off 10 minutes into the second half, the score being 3-0, after conceding an extremely lucky goal, a miss-hit cross. Really dissapointed with myself for the performance, and although the effort was there, it just isn’t enough in games of high stakes as we contend for a finals spot.
