U20 Round 23 (ML1): Blacktown Spartans FC vs Mounties Wanderers FC

Final Score: Spartans 2 - 0 Mounties

A full 90 minutes, started at left-centre back. A very good individual performance from myself, being great defensively and in possession. The team did well as a group and we persevered as a collective to come away with a resounding 3 points, especially for myself as it was against my old team that I just recently left. I did everything I could to support and inform my teammates about their match-ups, alongside good communication in general. I was extremely satisfied with my overall performance and the result, I couldn’t hide my happiness afterwards. Not going to go into too much detail because everything was very good for 95% of the time. Getting rid of the ball sooner and some clearer communication is what I can improve on from the game but I believe that’ll come with time playing in-amongst this new group of boys. Into another week of work in preparation for a good result and performance next week.
