U18 Round 16 (YL2): St George FC vs Nepean FC

I started the game at left centre-back in a 1-4-3-3 formation. The opposition made it difficult to play out usual possession based style, meaning we became far more direct and the target was to create and convert as many chances as we could. I was good aerially and was physical, leading from the back trying to keep the backline organised and giving information to those in front. On the ball I had to be patient as we shifted the opposition side to side waiting for our moment. I played the occasional pass through lines and some switches of play. Not at our best today but fought for the win.
