U20 Round 7 (ML1): Dulwich Hill FC vs Mounties Wanderers FC

Final Score: Dulwich Hill 3 - 1 Mounties

Started the game and played a full 90 minutes at left-fullback for the majority of the game then left-midfield for the remaining 15 minutes. Individually I had a pretty good first half and was very solid in possession. Defensively it was a bit difficult as the opposition played a unique formation and I was stuck to defend two players at a time which was a tough task. We conceded a soft penalty and went into the half 1-0 down. In the second half the team struggled to play and we lost the game in the midfield. Passes were sloppy and we kept losing the ball in transition while we were exposed at the back which lead to them scoring two more goals in quick succession. I was then moved to left-midfield and got on the ball and dribbled. Enjoyed my time there and we scored while I was in that attacking position. A tough defeat to take but given the current situation, we will take it and move on.
