A heated and hard-fought mid-week contest. I started the game and played a full 90 minutes at left centre-back. After conceding in the first 10 minutes, the game evened out and either team began to create good chances. We pulled the game back level at 1-1 in the 70th minutes after dominating the match since we had conceded. We dominated in our attacking third but could not put away the great goal scoring chances we made. Regarding my performance, I believe I played a solid game. The opposition made it difficult to play out of the back in the first half which meant my touches were limited. I was on the ball for more often in the second half and felt that I was somewhat dictating the tempo of the game, picking times to slow or speed the game up. I was the loudest on the pitch, having good communication throughout the entirety of the match. A minor thing to work on is being able to manage and organise my team if I am tracking back after being in an attacking position. Aside from that, my performance was dominant, and after the opposition had scored, my pairing centre-back and I were able to nullify the opposing attack.
