I started at right-fullback in this game and had an average game. In possession/on the ball I was okay and assisted a good goal, which was disallowed. I had several good moments in defence and defended long balls very well. However, the one aspect of the game I was poor in was 1v1 defending, which as a right-back you need to be consistent at. Every time the ball was sprayed wide to their winger, I was not there quick enough to apply pressure, which let him build speed against me a dribbled past me several times. which led to them having different chances, and on one occasion led to us conceding a corner because of it. I played a total of 55 minutes as I was subbed off after we had received a red card, partially tactical and also because I was not at my best.
