Game Performance

I began the game in the starting 11, starting at right centre-back. In the scoreless first half, I played well but had 3 errors which put the team under unneeded stress. Apart from the negatives, my communication and organisation of the back line was good but at times lacked further communication to my teammates. I made blocks and clearances and put myself in good defensive positions to bring the opposition’s attack to a halt.

I began the second half hoping to continue my efforts in the first half. We conceded 2 goals in the space of the first 25 minutes before I was subbed off for the remainder of the game. Our team lacking consistency in the second half compared to the opposition, resulting in them outplaying us and the final score being BWEFC 0-3 WSW.
